Angie gave us a very fun challenge today were the artist uses a stencil to watercolor. Not having a stencil that I liked to do this technique, decided to make one from a die. Using an outline die and sticky paper cut out and used as the stencil. For the background sponged the honeycomb stencil for some effects. The other card was done with the same stencil, but first I dry embossed the watercolor paper with the die using the silicone pad. Now I had a raised image which I attached the stencil to mask and painted. Using OI to sponge around the edges. Now I have two cards. TFL Come join the fun.

Wow! Both of your cards are gorgeous! Thanks so much for sharing how to paint along with the challenge, even if one doesn't have a stencil! Both are beautiful works of art! Fav'd!

Gorgeous! Both designs are fabulous. The raised one with the score lines is so clever and the honeycomb stencil one with the headline and fancy framing is perfect. Both are extremely creative (& you have 2 cards)...

I didn't find any flower stencil (I gave away several stencils and other crafting supplies) I should have thought about making my own stencil, I love what you've done and both cards are beautiful!!

Clever and creative. I had a die I wanted to use and thought about doing this but backed out. I love both of these, Linda, and the pretty backgrounds.
