Congratulations to our Featured Stamper Betty, also known as Sweet Irene, on her impressive gallery of over a thousand cards! Taking your time to go through her gallery is definitely worth it.
I chose www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/3015826 to case because I really liked how Betty incorporated hills and partial landscape stamping with trees. While trying to replicate it, I found out that I didn't have an appropriate tree stamp, so I did the best I could with a landscape tree stamp.
The werewolf and running people are all from Whimsy Stamps. The wolves in the background turned out a bit creepier than I intended, but the whimsical nature of the running people helps offset this. The "Fright Night" sentiment covers up a failed rising moon, and the washi tape covers some of the extra dead space caused by moving the sentiment down so low.
I like the way this card turned out, I don't love it, but I definitely learned a couple new techniques from CASEing this card. Thanks Betty!

LOL, what a difference a season can make!! Love your scary scene! The hills are alive with the sounds of werewolves---humming that Sound of Music tune as that thought came in my head. Thanks for starting my morning in a fun way!!

Ha, ha! I love this fright night scene! What a great interpretation of the FS's card. Your card is so full of action. It really is worth a second look (and third!).

Ok, first your card made me giggle but then Liz's (lazylizard) comment made me laugh out loud. Now I can't get that image out of my head. Your fright night looks way too fun to be frightful. That wash tape is a nice extra even if unintended. Some of the best designs happen from "unintended". And, kudos on figuring out how to use your landscape trees to create your tree line. All-in-all, this is one delightful CASE and card.

Love reading the comments on this card. Liz's also made me laugh. I'm not a spooky Halloween fan, but this does look like it was fun to make. You certainly have the right stuff! And I think your tree line is great.
