My card for this week tea party for Francesca who is the sister of Caterina (caterinafmig). Francesca will be celebrating her 75th birthday soon and could do with some warm thoughts from the teapotters!
I had stamped these flowers onto watercolour paper using tomboy markers already. I ink blended the bg and stamped the sentiment. Die cut the butterflies using some pretty Dp and added the small pearls. I matted this panel onto a piece of white c/s I had swiped DTP with the mermaid lagoon DO ink.

What a beauty and kudos on that inking after the images were stamped. You got the ink right there to the flowers perfectly -- that's fabulous! Love the soft colors and sweet feel of this card. Those small butterflies and gems certainly add to that feel. Wonderful card.

I agree with Debbie, this is such a beauty, Sue! Love your idea of swiping the background. Your flowers and the color of them against the green gives a wonderful look!

This is absolutely gorgeous! I love the soft look with the watercolor blooms! The added butterflies and the lovely background really lifts it up beautifully!

Very pretty card. Love the swiped bg. I was thinking it was dp and I sometimes hate to cover up beautiful dp when I just need a small edge. The swiped bg makes much more sense. I'll have to remember this idea.
