I wanted to try my pumpkins with the distress watercolor pencils and water so I was limited to the oranges I could use. I should've put them closer together but I'm leaving it "as is". I added some orange splatters too.

Wonderful pumpkins and I like how you placed them
Just makes a natural setting for them. The splatters added a wonderful touch.

Ooh I have not tried those pencils. ( I don't have the best luck with the ones I do have) so that is interesting to me that it looks like the paint flowed here Sheri. Pretty colors too!

Interesting with the use of the pencils. That was my first medium when I started to watercolor. Maybe we should have a challenge using them. I like how they look with the pencils. Did you draw directly with them or did you do it on scrap paper and then blend them? TFS

Linda, I dipped my paintbrush into water, then directly onto the watercolor pencil. I didn't draw first, just did it directly onto paper and got lucky it worked. LOL
I love it! Your pumpkins are beautiful! I like the splatters! I think your pumpkins look beautiful in the color you chose, they don't need extra colors!
