This is my card for Teapot Tuesday and the challenge of using August's flower, gladiolus. I don't have any stamps of gladiolus so put together this mishmash of images with the hope it will pass as gladioli. The leaves are from the bulrushes on the stamp with the mallard I used last month for the tickler. The blooms are from an old random stamp with no indication of the type of flower it is supposed to be. While doing a bit of gladioli research I found out that a number of different gladioli have fairly loose spikes of flowers. The gladiolus atom has brilliant red flowers with white edging so that is what I'm going for here. Just in case they don't pass for gladioli, I've added a bee from the list of creatures Sabrina provided. My embossed panel comes in the form of pre-embossed paper that I've had for ages. Enjoy!

You did a great job of creating that image out of a bunch of unrelated images. Honestly, if you hadn't said anything, I would not have guessed it was assembled from bits. The bee is a sweet touch.

You did a great job of constructing your Gladiolus from other stamps - I'd never have thought those were bulrushes. I really like the white edging on the flowers.
