I LOVE Karen's colors this week - they are so bright and summery!
I got this new die from Spellbinders and it was perfect for the colors and dessert. I waffled between a stenciled and an embossed background and went with the stencil - easy to get my BB in. My next decision was the dress. I first cut one from the same papers in Real Red but it looked Christmas-y to me so I went with the Curry. I save the red for a Christmas card.
Finally I was going to submit this for a challenge to make a card based on a song, book or movie but I missed the deadline. My inspiration for this card was the Seals & Croft song Summer Breeze.
I hope you'll join us this week and TFL!

That is one terrific die and these colors are perfect for your summer scene. Love it. I noticed all those tiny, tiny flowers. You must have nimble fingers. Beautiful sky.TFS Favd

So much to love on this card! I especially like that you used DS paper for her dress and the same color cardstock for the underside. Love the stenciled clouds, too!
