This weeks water color challenge of leaves made me want to paint using a reference photo I took the other day of coleus leaves and a begonia with some type of decorative grass in a large container. This didnât turn out as well as I would have liked. Last week my grandson and granddaughter were painting with me. When they got discouraged that they had messed up I reminded them that each painting shoes where you are at that moment. There is always something you could do better and next time try to do that. Trying to take that advice I gave.

Your coleus and begonias look great in the container. Your begonias look just like the ones I am growing in a basket. Good job with the leaves, too. Good advice you gave your grands.

Beautifully done with the painting of the coleus leaves. I always love the flow of your paints. Thanks for adding this to the gallery. Like the advice you gave the grands. We have to remember to have fun. TFS
That is such good advice for us all. Thank you for sharing it. I think your leaves are gorgeous! I am not a plant girl, but I knew those leaves!!! I like how you painted them. Like in the tutorial, you captured the pointy edges on the leaves. Excellent work and beautiful scripture!
