Thank you for hosting the Inspiration Challenge, Julie! The 1st Dibs site has so much to inspire. I chose this botanical leaf watercolor painting as my inspiration:
I used a watercolor inking technique to make my patterned paper. Ink from a pad is smooshed onto a craft sheet, spritzed with water and the ink moved around a bit with a paintbrush. I pressed my stamps into that ink and stamped repeatedly on cardstock.
Nancy has chosen Cindy aka misscindy as our featured stamper. I really liked this masculine card:
I kept the masculine theme and the brown card base. I changed the botanicals to die cuts, twine instead of cord and accented my small panel with dry embossing instead of the border punch.
Thank you Julie and Nancy for hosting the challenges. Congratulations, Cindy, you have a wonderful gallery.

Rita, I knew this was your card as soon as it popped on my screen. I love this layout and you use it so effectively and beautifully. I ADORE the watercolor stamped panel you created. So lovely and soft and yet still fits with your masculine theme. The dry embossed edges add so much interest and texture as do your die cut stems. Can you call a masculine card gorgeous? Hope so because I think this one is. Love it. Fav'd.
