This was done for pick a stamp week with new (old stamps) on the table because, that's how I roll. I've spent a lot of time hunting down old Margaret Sherry critters on the second hand markets the last few years and I have a lot of them so, its easiest to just grab the newest one to the collection than hem and haw over them all. I did go over the stamping with a black pen later when it was dry again because, it was not sharp enough for me. (I will get a blog post done later, dinner is cooking) Thanks for this challenge Kia & tfl.

Stacy, this is the sweetest card and wonderfully watercolored. I love that you collect some of the older stamps. Glad you can find them.

I think as a collector of stamps, I don't always go for the newest thing out there, I like you, look for those images that tug at my heart. I am a big fan of "House Mouse" stamps. I am not really a mouse lover, but I love the unique ways the artist of those stamps makes use of simple objects and how these little mice react to them. It really is the art and the message of the art that always makes a stamp part of my ever growing collection. Such a cute card and a great job on the water coloring!
