I bought several cardmaking kits on clearance from Spellbinders a few months backâleftovers from one of their monthly clubs. I figured they would be good for making lots of cards for seniors without having to think to much about stuff to coordinate. This is one of the cards I made today.
For this one I was inspired by this sketch Iâve had pinned in my card sketch Pinterest board forever:
Itâs from the Connie and Mary sketch challenges. I made two cards from this because I started with two pieces of coordinating patterned paper and stacked and cut them to match the layout. I took two of the pieces from each to make the pattern, and made a second card at the same time using the other pieces. I trimmed the green cardstock and layered onto white cards, then used tape runner to attach the four pieces. I die cut circles from the peach/pink paper and layered the die cut wreath that was included in the card kit on top of the circle (fortunately the kit came with two of all the die cuts!). I stamped the sentiment in black ink in the center and attached with foam tape. I stamped the birthday sentiment on a strip of the green cardstock and attached to the cards, and finished with three pink pearl stickers from Dollar Tree.
This will go in a bulk box for distribution at assisted living facilities.
