I took her challenge literally and went back to a tutorial from Dina a few years ago - Snowman Shelf Sitter Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers. It's more or less a fancy easel card, and the snowman's legs hang over the edge of the shelf. Full details in the linked tutorial. I used wrapping paper for the gift, and some novelty yarn for his scarf.

I have always loved this cute snowman hanging over the edge. When the tutorial first came out I did not get a chance to make it and still really want to make one. This is a great challenge for it too.

OK I'm going to have to check out this tutorial....this is so darling and fun. I know a few kids who would love to have this guy hanging around. I really like the scarf.

Howe fun, Sabrina! Love the shelf snowman sitting on a real shelf....had a peek at your library too. : ) The real knit scarf and wrapping paper package are great details to make it all the more "treasureable".
