Today's colors were perfect for a poinsettia! The pale peony panel was embossed with the Spellbinders scenic poinsettias embossing folder, then I used a finger dauber to apply some gold ink to the berries. The upper panel was made with cracked pistachio distress ink, the flower cut from smooshed BG's I'd made and a strip of matte gold cardstock covered the joining.

Love the shading that you achieved on the poinsettia, Sue. A stunning Christmas card with it and the textured embossing. The metallic gold diagonal band adds a "spark".

Beautiful with your shading that you do on your diecuts. It gives them so much depth. This is a beauty of a card with the texture elements and the added gold for richness. TFS
