I am enamored with Simon Hurley's stamping foam....I purchased three packages lately and yesterday, I had a big play with them, making many images using things I had. You simply heat the foam and press it on something with texture to make all new images. Re-heat the foam and create a new stamp.
The main panel was created using an old doily of my Grandma's. The circle image was created using the bottom of a vintage clear glass trinket bowl of my Mom's, like this one from yesterday's IC: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/21110691995523204/
This is also for today's FS, Tammy. She has a lovely SU oriented gallery and this is what I cased: bookmarks - masculine by Tkfite at Splitcoaststampers
I was also influenced by this card: "Manly" Bday Card by Tkfite at Splitcoaststampers
Like Tammy's two creations, I kept things neutral because of the vintage items I used to create my stamps. Instead of the blue on the clips, I used red because there is red in the dsp. Because I used some vintage family items, I decided that the sentiment was appropriate because it's Father's Day and my Dad was left handed. I've always been surprised that I've never heard that any one tried to convert my Dad to right handedness. Or maybe they failed, thankfully. My Dad was very creative and talented and I can't imagine that converting him would have been a good thing. I can imagine that writing on lined paper might have been difficult. Thanks for the challenges!

Very cool card, Jean! I've never heard of that foam, but it sounds pretty cool! I love the images you got with the vintage items you used! The quote is a good one! My hubby is left-handed and a teacher tried to change him, but my FIL said no way! Leave him alone!

Love the vintage look you created with those wonderful family heirlooms. I knew I could mold the foam with stamps and dies but had no clue I could items like doilies -- thanks for inspiring! Love love love your sentiment. Gorgeous card.
