This week we wandered through the beautifully curated memories and life of our latest Featured Stamper, andastra, digital scrapper extraordinaire. And so timely for me. I thought the geometrics on this layout would be good for a masculine graduation card that I need pronto for my great nephew: yummy pancakes by andastra at Splitcoaststampers
I kept andastra's triangular shapes and embossed three of my triangles to reflect her patterned ones. I changed the colors to the school's colors of gold, blue, green and substituted the numbers and die cut grad for her pic and embellishments. The navy number were getting lost on the gold so I backed them with slightly offset gold die cuts and that made all the difference. As you can see in the corner, the grad is one of several in the die cut. I only wanted the tallest one for the card and luckily that guy was on the end so easy to lop him off. In retrospect, I wish the numbers were a bit higher. I had originally intended to place the grad die cut inside the "0" but once it was glued down, he just looked better a bit below. Oh well, best laid plans as they say. LOL.
Congratulations andastra on being selected Featured Stamper this week. Your digital scrapbook pages are magnificent and so inspirational. I have marked a couple for future use too. I hope you enjoy your week in the spotlight. And, I hope everyone is finding inspiration all around you -- your home, your family and friends, or the view outside your window. Enjoy. TFL

Debbie, you took your inspiration and ran with it! Wow, this is so impressive looking ... your great nephew will surely love this dignified and handsome grad card in his school colors! Your embossed triangles really caught my eye!

Fabulous case. Love the triangle layout. Looks awesome in the gold. The stacked numbers are terrific. The die-cut graduate overlaying with the numbers works well. Great card!
