I had some fun making these cards with four different challenges combined:
FS852: muscrat - I love how Kathy does all the techniques! I chose this card because I've always loved the look of the lace shaker cards and wanted to make one. I also thought it would be a good use of my...
TLC954: Frosted Filter Background. Fun technique! I used Worn Lipstick and Tattered Rose Distress Ink reinkers and spritzed with a shimmery gold water bottle. I can't remember what I put in the water bottle to make it shimmery gold. I didn't even do it that long ago. Ugh. My brain is full. Anyway, it has a lovely shine to it. The darker card was the first filter I dipped in the ink and then the lighter card is the second one. I love them both. I used the big Elizabeth Craft Designs double sided adhesive tape roll to stick the filter to the cardstock. It works so well for things like that.
CC950: a great inspiration for which colors to use for my frosted filter background. Dessert was favorite embellishment. Stickles is my favorite, so I found a way to add it to the white die cuts.
CAS745: maybe not my most CAS card ever, but the sequins move all around, so I'm going with it!

Those are beautiful. The soft greens in the foliage are lovely with the zesty citrus colours of your first filter. You did well to get two - I think by the time I had dipped move enough to get good cover, I didn't think there was enough left for anything other than dying some seam binding.

First of all, I love the colors and whimsical design. Second, I thought I'd seen almost everything after 20+ years of stamping! A shaker card using "lace"! So cool.
