This week's teaparty is heading to Canada to brighten up the hospital room of Elke's (tropicalsmiles) mom. Elke told us her mom loves flowers so we're sending her a bunch. I created my background by stamping and embossing with white EP. Then I sprinkled Nuvo shimmer powder over the pattern and spritzed it with water until the color moved and blended together. I decided to pull the blue out of the background and make the focal flowers blue. I cut the arch shaped piece from vellum and heat embossed the sentiment.

Such a lovely background and love the vellum used for the sentiment. What lovely flowers will arrive to brighten that hospital room!

Shimmer powder! I bet that looks gorgeous. Even more gorgeous, as it's already beautiful on screen. I like blue flowers, and keeping the sentiment and sequins blue harmonises so well.

Fabulous! I love that bg stamp pattern and the shimmer powder is wonderful. I'm with Sabrina -- I bet that looks even more gorgeous IRL. Love love love the blue hues you used for the flowers and how you tied it all together with the sentiment and jewels. The velum was a great choice for the sentiment layer. And, I love that you used a scallop frame die for the base layer. There's something fun about scallops that always add a bit of whimsy to a card. Awesome card. Waltraud's room should be one beautiful bouquet of colors and flowers thanks to your challenge.
