Jeanne has some yummy colors for us this week and I kept thinking they might work for a sunset. Dessert is anything goes and I'll say mine is a silhouette.
We moved last week and are still organizing and unpacking (and getting used to having a yard again after 7 years in downtown St Paul!) This is the first card I've put together in my "new" craft room. More than that, it is the first card I've photographed here. This is the best of 3 tries and still doesn't capture the richness of the colors in real life. I've loved the way Pale Papaya blends with Polished Pink since I first started playing with them a few years ago. Gorgeous Grape does beautifully grounding them in the sunset. They should look warmer than they appear on my screen. ...Here's hoping I'll have better luck taking pictures in natural daylight?
I imagine there are many directions you can go with these colors and look forward to seeing what you create. I so hope that you will play along with us!

Chris I did not think of sunsets when I chose these colors but they are perfect for one. Your scene is so idyllic - just serene and peaceful. Beautifully done!

Chris, this is my favorite style of card. I love that blended colorful sky with the silhouettes. I couldn't wait to get this set and haven't used it yet. All the best in your new place. May it soon feel like home.

Chris, the way you’ve blended this week’s colors is so beautiful. The sunset seeing you’ve created is wonderful. I love the silhouetted animals and trees!
