I was inspired by our Featured Stamper Lesley's card Tulips (MMTPT764, Tulips by Marleygo at Splitcoaststampers) - paper pieced my tulips and used two inks on the stamp while masking the newsprint image. Kept it simple with some baker's twine to mimic the tie around the newsprint, and hand sewed and lettered my sentiment. Finished with a scalloped die cut peach panel.

Julia, this is such a great case of Lesley's card. I love your pretty floral bouquet and especially the news print wrap. This is such a lovely Mother's Day card.

A sweet and lovely card to wish a Mother a happy day. I love the newsprint wrapper on the bouquet -- isn't that how many of us use to get the flowers from the store/shop? And your colors on those delightful blooms are great. You incorporated all those fun colors beautifully into your bg design. Lovely card.
