This card started because I wanted to use that black lacy frame I had cut for another project but didn't use. I thought the gold and black would be a good combo but when I put it together it look too masculine for my girlfriend's upcoming bday. So I cut a square black mat frame for the sentiment and decide it was a "HIS" card. For "HER" card I went with bright pink and white and thought it much better for my friend.
To make my card, I cut strips of cs for the candles and embossed. Die cut the flames from the SS set and added some shading with COPICS. I thought about using a different ef for the bg for the second card, but I was experimenting and wanted to see how it would look with just a change in colors. So I kept everything the same except the fancy frame on the sentiment and I added a narrow black mat on the "HER" version to tie the frame color into the design better
If I do this card again, I might add some shading on the candles and I would be MUCH more aware of pasting the candles (specifically the pink candles) lower on the card. TFL

Fabulous "His & Hers". You are so clever and I love both of these designs. The headline lacy frame on hers and the structured frame for his! The same for the colors and the superb EF on the BG...
