Nancy picked Karen Hartikainen as our Featured Stamper this week and Karen has a lovely gallery. I was inspired by this TLC942 On & off the wetlands by Karen Hartikainen at Splitcoaststampers card. Instead of a sponged panel I masked a rectangle and sponged my colours in that. I used the same stamp set but a different colour palette. I also put a frame around my stamped panel. Thanks for inspiring me to get out this stamp set and show it some love! Congratulations Karen and enjoy your week.

Beautiful CASE. Love how your changes in palette and framing change the look and feel of this card so much. Yours has a feel of a new Spring day and a new beginning. Wonderful card.

I see five distinctive colours that were blended in your masked area. That's more labour intensive than my card! But so much more effective. That stamp set is an oldie but a goodie and I'm glad you chose it as well. Well done, Ann. I'm so glad you played along after choosing this particular card.
