This is my sample for CC941. Chris is our hostess and she chose petal pink, very vanilla and sahara sand for her color trio. Dessert option this week is anything related to wood.
I really had to think about this one since our colors were limited. The wood option made me think of a cross, so I went with an Easter card.
The cross has amazing detail and I thought of the hymn "The old rugged cross" and decided to use that for a background. I found a free printable online of the hymn. I printed it on cardstock and cut it down for my A2 size card.
Layered that on soft suede cardstock and cut the cross in soft suede as well.
I cut the cloth in very vanilla. I don't have petal pink ink or cardstock so I subbed powder pink. Cut my tulips in that color cardstock and sponged with distress ink. The stems are cut in a mossy meadow designer paper.
That's my card for this week. Looking forward to see what you create with these color choices.
