What fun, Sabrina and our hostess, Denise (card crazy). A Magical Mystical Tour into the Beatles musical catalog! I thought my Oxford Impressions Whale would look fabulous as a yellow submarine.
I had such fun developing this piece. I 'happened' upon the Trader Joe's Scandinavian Swimmers Super Sour Gummies...and the packaging provided the aqua elements. The background was made with Brushos (about 4 colors). Once dry, I laid stencils over the top, rubbing with wet wipes to remove color. Lots of bubbles and algae. I put the sentiment in the porthole: The sea is calling and I must go...
Can't wait to see the song catalog full of Beatles tunes...thanks Denise for a songfest.

The gummies sound tasty, I like sour. And they provided great supplies for your underwater scene. I like the EP on the whale, kind of makes him look barnacle-encrusted. An old man of the sea...

That ocean is amazing! Looks like a lot of dark, mysterious nooks and crannies to explore with the yellow submarine/whale.I love that your deep sea diver makes an appearance...why wouldn't he? Fab design!!
