Today's Colors: Poppy Parade, Crumb Cake, Coastal Cabana Dessert: Favorite Embellishment
WT: It's a Banner Day
I started by making an oval mask and then sponging on the sky and water. I used a Waves stencil to add texture to the water sponging with coastal cabana. I added the birds in black. For the boats, I used dark pool party for the cabana and die-cut then popped them up. I added the sentiment using the stitched banner, added the smooth dot and popped it up. The thin navy panel is on foam tape. Thanks for stopping by today! It's been fun being on the color team once again! ~Roberta

What a lovely scene you've created, Roberta! The two sailboats out in the evening light, at the end of a beautiful day. I love the oval with a few elements extending over the edge!

this is a great thank you card Roberta. The boats have a nice depth to them as do your birds. A couple of them look like they are flying out of your scene- great design

Wonderful scene. Love the oval masking for the ink blending. Excellent positioning for the boats. Awesome use of the challenge colors. Thank YOU for all the fabulous inspiration this month!
