A red side-fold card with the corner of the sides rounded and a die-cut scallop oval removed. The next white corner rounded layer has a die-cut oval removed slightly larger than the red layer. Added a floral piece from my stash. I stamped the inside with 3 stamps. The original front had stamped in each of the 3 corners a light airy flourish. On the 3rd stamping in the upper right corner, the stamp fell off the stamp platform and messed up the card! To cover my boo-boo, was forced to use hearts to match the ones inside. It would have been perfect if it was Valentine's card but it wasn't so I was left with this design instead. The idea was one I saw on a card site and saved a photocopy of before I knew about Pinterest. Unfortunately, I don't know to who to give the credit.

Beautiful card, Betty. I like how you cut out the scalloped oval and the flower is gorgeous. It was good you could cover the boo boo and the hearts all look great....shows a lot of love.

If you could see videos of my stamping or painting you would laugh because I ALWAYS have an errant ink or paint spot (sometimes multiples) that has to be covered! I love the hearts and those flowers are so pretty. This card is really, really pretty, Betty. Hugz

Beautiful card, Betty. Love the oval opening. There are no mistakes in crafting, just opportunities to embellish. The hearts look great. Very nicely done!
