I dug around in my stash and found a baggie of those chipboard tags that were a dollar at one of the craft stores, then excavated the Pink Paislee Horizon pad and selected the globe paper. Since the paper is 6 X 8, and I used an 8 1/2 X 5 1/2 base, I trimmed the edges to 5 1/2 inches, and split into 2 parts, adhering one at the top and one at the bottom. To disguise the fact that I didn't get them aligned perfectly, I picked a striped ribbon and covered the gap. Mounted the tiny tag with some low rise dimensionals, and filled the holes in the tag with gel glue and popped two tiny yellow brads (that I had clipped the legs off of) into the holes. To prevent the ribbon from fraying, I wet the edges with liquid glue and let dry.
For MMTPT757:
Use it: I've had that paper pad since before Covid, and I think this may be the first sheet I tore out of it. Really had to dig to find the chipboard tags- knew I had some somewhere, but YEARS since I had purchased them, and the brads were a PIF that had been laying around in a little ziploc bag. I have NO IDEA how long I've had the ribbon, but I hardly ever put ribbon on a card anymore. This week's Tea Party recipient is the secretary at an elementary school, and the globes just reminded me of school.

That's the problem with bigger cards - paper doesn't always fit. Ha, even for the Tickle next week, I had to "fudge" like you did because I was using a 6" sheet on a 7" x 5" base. That is fantastic paper, and the ribbon is a great colour match. I love those chipboard elements, but I was never much good at using them.
I hope you had a good birthday - meant to message you on the day but am chronically tired these days. Not everything I plan happens :-(.

What fun paper and I love the title you chose for this gem. Each globe and the fun sentiments are like a little mini destination. I think adding the ribbon was a great idea even if you didn't need it as a disguise. It adds a lot of charm and interest. Wonderful card and I'm sure Heather will agree.

Very cool, fun card! I love the globes, they do remind me of school! And I think most of us have used ribbon (or brads, or gems, or....) more than once to cover up more than one "mistake"! Speaking only for myself, of course....! :-) TFS!

I like the "global" nod to Heather's job as school secretary and all the fun designs. When I first saw it, I thought perhaps you had paper pieced designer papers over a standard globe. Love the cheerful rainbow ribbon.

I love the globe background paper with the rainbow striped ribbon.I have quite a few chipboard tags that I have never used. I need to try to find a use for them. You have inspired me.
