Karen is our hostess for the Color Challenge this week. Her beautiful colors are: Highland Heather, Balmy Blue, Pear Pizzazz and the dessert option is ribbon.
I used a new two-step stamp set for the first time. The outline image was stamped in Gray Granite (neutral) and then the fill in areas were stamped in Highland Heather and Pear Pizzazz. The splatter was stamped with the Balmy Blue. I thought using black ink for the sentiments might be a little too harsh, so I stamped the sentiments in Basic Gray (neutral). There was not much room for a bow, so for the dessert, I fed some ribbon through the die-cut scallop edge in two corners. Finished with Wink of Stella and some pearls.
These colors are lovely; the gallery will be beautiful this week! We hope you will join in. TFL

Oh, I like those pretty blue splatters surrounding your beautiful bloom, Diane! A nice way to add some ribbon to the die-cut area of your scallops. Your colors seem to shine...well done~

Wow, Diane, the placement of your two-step stamping is so precise. Well done! The flower is beautiful, and I adore the corner treatment with the ribbon. So creative and pretty!
