Our TeaPot Challenge this week is hosted by Polly (peeps321). This card is in honor of baby Veda. Check out the Angel Wings Teapot Challenge
This Stampland 'Starlight' Angel' is one of my favorite stamps. It did take many inkings to get an impression I was pleased with. I used Archival 'Night Sky' direct to the paper with image facing up. I added one of the Sizzix TH 'Falling Hearts' to the angel. If you look closely, the angel is holding a bowl of stars and scattering them to the universe.
I chose the Swahili quote to stamp in the bottom corner of the card. It was embossed with Metallic Bronze ep. Surrounding the corners are 12 gold hearts.
This card fits into the MIX521: Hearts. SweetMissDaisy, Anna Wight is our hostess. My red heart is watercolored and the champagne hearts are die cut with TH Metallic paper.
I am adding to the IC894 challenge this week as well. Stacy (JBgreendawn) brought us a most creative designer of home goods. The blankets in particular caught my eye. I was especially drawn by the colors. I also like the letter blankets!
Do you have an image that is a bear to get fully inked? With all the products we have at our disposal, you'd think it would all be gravy, but I don't find that to be the case...
Thanks for your comments.

I can see why this stamp is a fav (and yes I do have a few of those hard to ink ones). It's pure magic...I just love the bowl and the scattered stars...The added stars in the corners are the perfect touch. A masterpiece! Well worth all your discarded priors....lol

what a gorgeous stamps Susan, and yes. even simple sentiments end up being inked over and over to show up on wc paper for me so, I totally get that. I love the colors and what you did with the hearts too.

Gorgeous stamp and gorgeous stamping even if it did take a few tries (I think we have all been there once or twice or more). That image is so beautiful and evocative. I love that she is scattering more stars around the universe and how you added your own at the bottom. And that saying -- how perfect for so many occasions but I think it is especially apropos for this one. Magnificent card in every way. I think Abbie will be deeply touched and moved by this beauty.
