This past fall is a memory and why I'm making fall cards, I have no clue. Actually, I do have a clue, because I have spent the past few days re-organizing my craft area in the dungeon (basement) and have spent a lot of time sorting through scraps. I know we all have a lot but I'm guessing I might win the contest. I found all sorts of interesting things in the bag of scraps I have, like three dies, a tool and a blending brush that had accidentally fallen in. I could have just tossed the whole bag but I am my mother's daughter so I went through it. Everything that I used on these four cards was scraps except for two card bases. I have vowed I will not make a card without going through my stash going forward. I chose her card because I found this OSW sheet that I made last fall for a color challenge, I believe; there was plenty left if I used it wisely. I also used a smaller scrap of a gel print that I found and some metallic adhesive paper. I chose four neglected embossing folders, did some direct to paper on them or sprayed them and added strips of the OSW, gel print and the metallic. I'm pretty proud of myself for using up some stuff and I plan to keep going. Thanks for the challenge, Julie! PS I'm not sure the stamps of the leaves are SU, I'd have to go back to the card from last fall. All the inks are SU. I had fun!

Very creative and very pretty! Love how you combined many elements on each card. Wonderful that you were able to use so many scraps to create so many lovely cards.
Thank you for participating in my Featured Stamper week. This has been a wonderful experience.

I was just looking at some scraps and tossed them, now I wish I hadn't. The only one I saved was a sheet I had stamped multicolored leaves on--similar to the one you have the diagonal strips. These are all wonderful! Fall is my favorite time of year and I tend to make cards for then all year long. I saved to my Favorites.

Jean, I love that your stepping off point was Kate's pretty fall card. Not only did you use up some of your scraps but you made four very creative and interesting cards. I am in love with all the dimension you added with the embossing folders and the strips and corner pieces. Wonderful!

Love this set of autumn cards! I am also loving all the textures on them. You have a treasure trove of scraps that's for sure and I am so pleased to see your creative use of them. Wonderful!

Oh Wow, Jean, these are fabulous. But I'm not sure which I love more -- the cards or the fact you found dies, a tool and a brush in the scraps bag. That's a win-win for sure. Love how you used all the scarps to create each of the varied designs. Wonderful set of cards and handy for when you might need them. But don't lose them in your scrap bag (been there, done that). LOL.
