I have been sorting my leftovers from previous years and I knew that I had this image pre-stamped with some blended ink already on it. What got my attention about Kate's card is that she cut the image into a circle. I do not think I have ever done that with this image. I wanted to try it!
I finished the ink blending, die-cut it into a circle and used a scallop circle mat in black. Then I stamped the image again and blended ink on the butterfly & fussy cut it out. I glued it on the circle image just under the body area so the wings could lift up. I covered the wings with Wink of Stella so they sparkle. The white panel is shimmer cardstock, so it sparkles, too.
My changes: theme, colors, coloring method, colored card base, scallop circle mat, stamped sentiment directly on panel, added rhinestones.
Thank you Kate for sharing your wonderful cards with us and for inspiring mine today! I like the image in a circle.

Loving this. I don't think I've ever thought of cutting this image in a circle and I love how you doubled the butterfly. The purple bg strip is lovely.

This is beautiful! Love how you did the butterfly. Looks wonderful. I will need to make another card like this and do what you did! Love your color choices also.
Thank you so much for taking the time to participate in my Featured Stamper week. This has been a wonderful experience.

Diane, this is a gorgeous case of Kate's card. I love that you stamped, colored and cut out the second butterfly to pop up on the case. It adds the perfect touch of dimension to your lovely card.

Gorgeous! Don't know what the original image was like but this is a grand idea. Looks so beautiful. Love the rich colors and the extra butterfly is fantastic...
