Happy Monday to all! I'm hosting today's TLC which is easy glue printing. It's quite fun and one can make multiple prints at a time. I not only printed with two colors of acrylic paint plus the glue but I also sprayed the cardstock with two shimmery sprays. I purchased the star at a cool shop in Holland Michigan this summer, I'm guessing it's just acrylic paint scraped over paper and then the star cut out. Added some twine and a computer generated sentiment. I hope you enjoy this challenge.
I'm also adding this to the Fan Club Christmas challenge for January. My Dad was the choir director for many years at the church I grew up in and a piece of music that he purchased and we sang often was There Shall a Star from the Christmas Oratorio by Felix Mendelssohn. I loved singing it every Advent. My Dad didn't have much experience conducting a choir although he was a good musician and singer but he sure knew how to pick out music for the choir. As his daughter, I was always proud to sing in his choirs.

You have such a wonderful memory of your Dad and I love your star. You did a fab job for both challenges. I love stars and you found a super one.

Jean, thank you for sharing your sweet story. I love how you used a sweet memory as inspiration! What a fantastic card. The glue adds so much interest. I like the way you added the star with the fibers. I love it.

When I saw your card the first thing I thought of was that the glue work looked like a footprint from a combat boot. No matter where a military person is stationed, we all look up and see the same bright Christmas star.
