This week's technique challenge was to recycle Christmas cards into cards or tags. Years ago, I spent a quarter at a thrift store or yard sale and got a set of note cards printed "A note from Kelly" with a snow scene. (hint: my name is not now nor ever has been Kelly). I always intended to do something with them, and I finally did. I decided the most interesting thing on the whole scene is the small cardinal in a tree, so that's what I highlighted in my gift tags. The cardinal was at almost the top of the card, so I used a small tag die to cut the bird and some scenery out, and matted it with a larger tag. This was also a good way to use some random scraps of white card stock.

Great idea to buy the Kelly cards and great idea to repurpose them into tags. The scene is pretty and I like how you did the tags! Fun. Hugz
