This was done following along with the tutorial this week shared by Linda using a dry brush to jump start wild grasses from Wendy Powell-Jones. I did start this on cheap paper as I was not sure what I was going to get, I did not follow the instructions step by step, no sketching, no masking. just winged if by what I remembered as I went a long. There are a few more shots of the process here on the blog. Thanks for this challenge Linda & tfl.

You really captured the technique perfectly with your grasses. Lovely colors and the hint of the purple sky is delightful. Another great job. Thanks for sharing.

Perfect grasses, Stacy, and pretty flowers. I notice your grasses seem to have those little seedy things I see on them growing outside.

WOW - you nailed this technique, Stacy!! And I love this orientation but now I am curious about something . . . are you perchance left-handed ?? Because I have the devil's own time trying to paint strokes from right to left and the flow of your brushstrokes looks absolutely effortless. Outstanding job that should have you smiling way into next week!
