This week we are sending some paper hugs and Tea Potter cheer to Kristine, who needs a bit of a pick-me-up. She loves bright purple, green and dragons. I don't have a dragon that I thought would work, but I do have dragonflies. I hope that is close enough to make Kristine smile.
I used G14 and V17 Copic reinkers on the glossy AI cardstock. Stamped and heat embossed the image and then the sentiment stamps. The image embossed beautifully, but the sentiments gave me some fits and some residue. Decided to embrace the "dark" because, as you know, you just can't duplicate an AI bg. Although it doesn't show well in the picture, I matted the image panel with a very thin frame of black and popped that up on dark purple cs.
Sometimes life throws us some difficult challenges and we all need to be reminded that there is still much kindness and love in the world. I believe that can help us through those tough times. I believe that is what the Tea Potters do. I hope all your beautiful cards remind Kristine of that and that it helps her through and over this rough patch. I hope you all receive much love and kindness today too. You can never get too much of that. TFL

this came out gorgeous ! The colors are very vibrant and I love the way the background turned out. I always forget about dragon flies... I have a couple of stamps and several dies in different sizes. They make beautiful cards, as you have done. And, thank you for your kind words about love and kindness... my daughter is going thru one of the most difficult times of her life at this time and I greatly appreciate the time people are putting towards letting her know she too, is not alone. Thank you SO much !

Gorgeous! The BG, the heat embossing, and the bold design are phenomenal. Love purple tones and the green/black combo are perfect...

Oh - I thought I had already commented on this. I must have been waiting till I had time at the PC, and that hasn't happened yet. The dragonfly is a great alternate dragon . I automatically assumed it was an AI background - I guess it is, but using the Copic re-inkers must give you a greater colour choice.

This is drop dead gorgeous in those beautiful rich colors that Kristine loves. Stunning card for her and I 100% agree we can never get too much love and kindness. Amen to that thought!
