I stamped the flower on a 4x5-1/4" panel of watercolor paper, with the bottom of the stems hanging just off the lower edge. I used Fog ink, for a semi-no-line-coloring effect. I still had enough of the lines visible that I could follow when I did the painting.
I used my watercolors to paint the blooms & stem/leaves, following a reference photo I had found online for colors. I went ahead & just painted over the stamens, as they were way too fine to paint in. After the paint dried, I went over those with colored pencils.
I heat embossed the greeting directly on the panel. Finally I adhered it to a plum mat that I'd mounted to a white card base.
