This is my sample for CC926. Diane is our hostess and she chose tahitian tide, parakeet party (subbed) and gorgeous grape for her color trio. Dessert option this week is sparkle. My background paper is really sparkly, and I also used enamel dots.
For my card I used a card base from the October 2021 Paper Pumpkin kit- Peaceful Christmas. I colored the trees with granny apple green Stampin' blends.
I cut my Merry Christmas phrase in granny apple green. To get the tahitian tide color in I added a few blue birds to the pine trees. My card base is smoky slate and I used a silver metallic paint pen and edged the card.
The sentiment banner came in the kit- I edged it with the blends marker. Cut a flag in gorgeous grape and added a few enamel dots to finish off my card.
Hope you can play along with us. We are looking forward to seeing your cards in these pretty colors.

Very pretty Mary... Your Christmas scene is beautifully put together and the bluebirds of happiness are the perfect accent! Your delicate sentiment die cut is also gorgeous as well!

This is really a unique and beautiful approach to the challenge, Mary! I also thought that those shiny dots would make a perfect dessert but mine seem to be hiding on me...
