We were supposed to photograph our original card intact. I am technologically handicapped and don't know how to superimpose one photo on another. (really don't care to learn..too many other things to manage) The original card was from my college roommate.....we haven't seen each other in decades, but always corresponded with Christmas cards. Last spring her brother contacted me to let me know she has dementia and is going down hill rapidly. He asked that I not send her cards since when she receives a card, she can't remember whom that person is and it upsets her greatly. That's why I titled my card "Dear Card".
The pine was made with a Greetery macrame die that is repurposed to make the "bottle brush pine" Splattered it with white acrylic

It means a lot to me that you used this card from your friend...and am glad it could work for the MIX too. I am pleased you played! Keep this forever, your two hearts together. Just splendid!

I'm sorry about your longtime college roommate, Sallie. Such a gorgeous card that she sent to you and I love the fact that you repurposed this die-cut tree to replicate the ones from her card. This is so special~

Beautifully designed with a heartwrenching story. The design, the spattered tree, and the BG die-cut are all fabulous... Happy New year! May the year bring you happiness, good health, and loads of love.
