This is for this Friday's MIX-revisit the gilded trees. I really enjoyed that technique the first time for Falliday, used the same set of dies.
This is also for today's FS-When One thank you... by johnsopa at Splitcoaststampers
Pat, it was easy to choose a card because I really liked that card. I needed to create a card for an alphabet swap I'm in, letter F. I knew I wanted to use Fa la la and repeating that phrase seemed perfect. I changed the orientation and 'fancied it up' a bit, with glitter pen and the gilding 'flakes' on the 'fir' tree.' The tan paper has the words for The Twelve Days of Christmas, meaning 'French' hens. There is also a number 1, which is 'first'. I loved her scoring so kept that, doing a bit more than her card. Thanks for the inspiration to help me get this card done and in the mail. Thanks for the challenges.

One 'Fa la la' is never enough! LOL! Love how you gave the scoring texture on the tan paper. That stamp along with the gilded tree is so perfectly framed in cherry cobbler red! Love it, and thank you, thank you, thank you, (wink, wink) for the wonderful CASE of my thank you card!

Oh la la (close to fa la la). Love the gilded tree and using Pat's design for the repetitive words looks fabulous. Great dp for the tree layer. Wonderful card and lucky you to have it "in the mail" already. Someone will be delighted when their mail arrives soon. Great card.
