After applying Versamark to the raised side of the embossing folder, I debossed a piece of sage colored cardstock, then embossed the debossed image with clear embossing powder. I smooshed ink onto my glass mat, then laid the debossed card into the ink, moving it around, smooshing ink into it, drying it, repeating until I was satisfied with the color variation. I then repeated the process using the oxide ink. I dried it with my heat gun, layered it onto a piece of kraft cardstock on which I had edged it with vintage photo ink, then layered that onto a cherry cobbler base card. I stamped the Christmas phrase with Versamark and vintage photo ink, embossed it with clear embossing powder, punched it out, sponged the edges with distress fired brick ink, popped it up using adhesives. I then cut holly and pine branch embellishments out using parts of die (from Amazon), cutting from leftover scraps from project, tucked them in behind the phrase, glued them down with Nuvo adhesive. I think this has a very antique look to it. A fun technique to try!
