Our inspiration this week comes from Chapters Indigo Christmas Store. I found this lovely Snowglobe to jumpstart my card.
I started by sponging Fossilized Amber & Salty Ocean over the card base - then finished around edges with Royal Blue for more of a night feel. Die Cut The village and backed all the apertures with gold mirror board. Added Crystal Snow to the edges of the snowbanks and trees. Once dry I layered onto my card base and stamped the Greeting in Royal Blue.
Now to the "ditzy" part! I die cut oodles of the tiny stars & dots and painstakingly glued them into my sky. Let me just say that someone with vision problems (ME) should probably skip this part (over an HOUR to accomplish just the stars) BUT I have to say I very pleased with how it all turned out!

Beautiful village, Linda. Your sky looks great, too.

Beautiful...I always love a good Christmas village and I commend you on the stars...they're so pretty but I understand how putzy they would be.
Oh and you were right about my stamp....I did have the wrong company on my write up....thanks for pointing that out.
