My card for this weeks' Teapot Tuesday challenge, Tough People. Our recipients are "tough people", but have been facing some difficulties lately and need our support!
Cut panels of the red and blue CS 4" x 2.5". Cut a panel 4" x 5.25" out of white CS. Used the stitched slope die to 'shape' the red and blue CS, taped them to the panel of white CS, and then placed the panel in the Stars EF to create my background. Mounted this onto a gold shiny CS panel, and then onto the 100# White CS card base.
Die-cut the swirls from blue glitter paper, and adhered to the left side of the RWB panel. Stamped the Ralph Waldo Emerson quote from the Quick 'N Cute SS onto white CS and die-cut with one of the stitched stars dies. Used the next larger star die to cut a layer for the sentiment out of red CS, adhered the sentiment star, and popped it up with foam tape. Die-cut several sizes of stars from glitter CS and the shiny gold CS. Adhered a small blue glitter star to the larger gold shiny star and popped that one up with foam tape. Adhered the other stars at random.
(Sorry the photo is blurry; I've been having some camera issues and didn't catch it before uploading...sigh.)
I hope this card will show my support and care for this family at this time. TFL!

Awesome card and design. I love the waves of red, white & blue along with all the stars. Great that you added that gold one for their son. That quote is so inspirational. Fabulous card.
