Okay, I have over 30 die-cut trees leftover from making my Christmas cards... and there was no way I was going to throw away all of those trees. (The trees on my cards are green with white while these are the leftover parts -- white with green). Sooooo, I am challenging myself to make as many winter (non-Christmas) cards with these trees as possible. Winter is short here in GA (and it's 81 degrees out here right now), so I don't have a very big window for using these, but I sure don't want to waste them.
Mixed media = stamp ink, colored pencils, ZIG Wink of Stella glitter pen
Adhere dark blue cardstock panel to front of white A2 card base. Tear a white scrap panel and adhere at the bottom of the card as "snow". Add Wink of Stella (my first time using!!!) to the torn white edge and around the white card edges.
Assemble 3 previously die-cut Christmas trees (white, Evening Evergreen) and hold together using double-sided tape. Stamp Chickadee on branch in black ink on white panel; die cut; color with colored pencils. Adhere bird panel and three trees to the front of the card. Add Wink of Stella to the white portions of the 3 trees (not very visible, but VERY shimmery). Stamp sentiment in black ink on Soft Succulent scrap and die cut; adhere to card front using dimensional foam tape. TFL!
