It's my pleasure to be your hostess for this week's Color Challenge CC920. The colors I selected are Merry Merlot, Polished Pink, and Garden Green with the Dessert Option of adding any fourth color.
My design began by water coloring a background with Polished Pink ink. I stamped several poinsettias in Versamark ink then heat embossed with white powder and die cut into a circle. Each petal was shaded by using Merry Merlot ink. My dessert was adding the 'dab' of Daffodil Delight in the center of the poinsettia. I like the bold focal point but it turned out nothing like I had imagined in my head. All in all, I think it turned out ok! If I have time, I will give it another go!
I hope you join us this week, we would love to see your wonderful creation!

Beautiful winter card, LeAnn! What caught my eye the most is the great layout on this card, full of different shapes, colors and textures. So much interest. Thanks for a great color palette this week, and especially the fun dessert option!

Beautiful! This is one of my all time favorite poinsettias and you've used it beautifully with the white embossing. The rhythm and texture you've created with the scallops and evergreens make it so polished and appealing.
