CC - Orchids & Cutty & Olives - Karen Barber
TPT - for a friend of Pam (bailmac)
I pinned this card today. I thought it would be perfect in today's colors & also work for our teaparty for Pam's friend. I changed the colors, put my panel in the center, used a different sentiment & used black grograin ribbon. I used a similar rose stamp from the Sentimental Rose card kit. I stamped my roses in Crushed Curry & leaves in Old Olive. I used Versamark on the Orchid Oasis cardbase. I didn't like all the white space, so I used IBBG, stamped off twice to fill the space. I also altered the die for the sentiment, as it was way too long. I die cut once, then flipped it & fitted it into the die where I wanted it, cut again. Glued the ribbon on the back & popped up with $Tree large dots. I also masked off 'there' on the sentiment before stamping.
Thanks for stopping by.

Beautiful card and a great CASE. Love that color combo and I agree that this design is perfect to show it off. Kudos on your stamping/die cutting the sentiment banner -- you really lined that up well. I'm glad you added the splatters and love how they filled in the "white space". They really add to the overall look. Great card.

This is such an eye catcher with your gorgeous Crushed Curry roses! The tone on tone stamped background is very pretty too, you've done a great job of using Karen's colors this week! TFS
