I was inspired by the cup and saucer and the coffee beans, and wanted to represent these on my card as well. I also carried over the grid paper into my design.
To make the card my own:
I used a different cup and saucer image, with mine having a bunny peeking out.
I used a different color scheme, with mine being brown and blue, including blue grid paper.
I used a different format of coffee bean, with mine being a stencil covering the whole background.
I used a different sentiment.
I cut a dark brown layer and then the patterned paper layer slightly smaller. I used the coffee bean stencil on the patterned paper and set aside to dry.
I stamped, colored, and die cut the image. I like this die a lot because it cuts out the center of the handle. I added pink cheeks, pink ears, and a white pearl to the center of the bow.
I stamped the sentiment onto the coffee cup - How've You Bean?

Blue and Brown -- can't go wrong with that color combo and it's perfect for a coffee themed card like this. Love love love your stenciled beans on the grid dp. So fun, as is that adorable bunny in the cup. Wonderful take on the inspiration card and a delightful and fun thinking of you card for a great friend.

I agree with the comments about the colour choice—that's my favourite colour of blue, too : -) And what a fantastic bean stencil! This card will make someone very happy. Thanks!
