My background is full of mixed media. I started with a stencil using acrylic paint, since my embossing paste was all dried up. Then I came back with inks trying to salvage the stenciled piece but give it color. That wasn't enough, so I got out pigment powders. I used two colors from the tropical collection by Ken Oliver. Then I came back after that dried and sprayed a gold mixture. The gold is from Stampin Up and I have it in a small spray bottle. I am sure mixed it with water at some point.
The corgis were colored with spectrum noir alcohol markers along with the castle. I used one of the images that the dogs would normally jump over and placed it under the dog with the crown for a pedestal effect.
I am not British, but remember seeing and hearing about the Queen all of my life. I am honored to make a card in her remembrance.

Lisa, I'm sure this will bring a big smile to Amelia's face ... the background is wonderful and the Corgi's are adorable!
