Today I perused the delightful and beautiful Gallery of the newest Featured Stamper, Ruby aka rawikes. I had my eye on another card but didn't have much time today, so I went with my second choice and equally lovely card: Spring Gardening by rawilkes at Splitcoaststampers
I kept Ruby's floral background, the general colors of pinks and greens; and a butterfly; but, I changed the image to a sentiment. Not much to tell here except I accidentally reinked my lightest pink ink pad with the medium pink ink (eek). So I blotted, blotted, blotted it off and then used the same ink for all the rose layers to try to keep it lighter and softer. I like how the ink layered so I might always use one ink color for these flowers. Hopefully I won't ink the wrong pad again.
Congratulation Ruby on being selected Featured Stamper. You have a wonderful Gallery filled with great cards, wonderful designs and beautiful coloring. I hope you enjoy the week and the cards made in your honor. I hope everyone is enjoying their week and if you happen to reink the wrong pad make roses. TFL.

Oh my gosh you would have a total fit if you saw my ink pads and watercolors. They are ugly and mixed and looks like no one loves them when in fact I love them too much. LOL.
Your card is super, super pretty, Debbie. The pink layers are stunning, all the roses are beautiful, and the card is dripping with beauty.
I know mix ink pads are all saying, "when we are gone, we want to come back at Debbie's house."
