I love the duoprinting with chlorophyll, found in our tutorials section. In a nutshell, it's printing with real leaves/flowers/weeds. One never knows what one will get. I decided I better make some new ones before the leaves are gone. Don't know what kind of leaf this is...my 'gardens' are overgrown with stuff (I rent, landlord doesn't care). This leaf was turning color, I was happy I got some of the purple color from that.
This card is made with scraps, except for the base. I used scraps of white to make a batch of leaf prints. I rarely use colored cs so I have lots of white, off white and vanilla pieces. The background is a brayer-off with metallic paints. The strips were on my desk, some metallic, some a cutoff from a WCW challenge a couple of weeks ago. I sometimes save those trimmings to put inside the card for some detail.
I was inspired by several things but I loved looking through this page: https://www.pinterest.ca/thisisjcana...silver-bronze/
I especially like to use metallics in fall and winter.
Thanks for the challenge, Kia!

Super card with your scraps. I haven't done this chlorophyll technique in a long time. I see you did get a lot of purple. Love metallics, too.

I always enjoy this technique, too, and I'm as happy as you are that the eggplant tones transferred! Your bits & strips bring in lots of the autumn colorations.
