Lots going on here today, trying to catch up on a few challenges.
Today's CAS and the F4A a few weeks ago: frame it! A small frame for the deer and a frame of snowflakes. Yes, the silver frame is wonky, even though I carefully laid the dies, I thought, evenly. I don't see things straight, apparently.
Last week's ABC17 challenge: overlay. Well, the main panel is overlaid on top of the base and the frame is overlaid on the deer. I know, a stretch. I had another plan but......
A few words about the mirror image technique. This was done with a window sheet, stamped the deer on the sheet and laid it under the main deer image. The clouds are done with a sponge and a cloud cut from a die, all done at an SU technique club. Originally this would have been a summer card but adding the snowflakes and Stickles made it look like the first snow of winter. I love a bright blue sky in winter, even if it is colder.
Thanks, Lee, Angie and Ann.
For the Fan Club Christmas challenge: I thought Clarice and the first snow would do. She's his wife, after all.
PS obviously the water hasn't frozen yet....ha!!
