I've printed a leaf and used it as template pierced through the template on the wrong side of the kraft, then cut out the leaf to keep the mask for the stamping, my stamp is a slimline stamp but using the mask I've got only the center, then used the cut out leaf to mask the stamp and sponged white pigment ink around the leaf, used a bit of salty ocean in the sky, drew the stars and dots with the gel pen, went over the piercing with white gel pen and colored the scene wit white gel pen too, this done I've stamped the sentiment at the bottom and oh no it was upside down... so I've stamped it again on a left over and glued it over the wrong stamping and pierced the leaf parts again in the stamped piece, I use paper piercing often for my embroidering, but it's not always possible with my hands to do what I want, so I'm making less and less embroidering cards but still like it to do

This is gorgeous and so Canadian looking, ha, ha! Thank you so much for the detailed explanation of how you did it. I love the white on kraft look. The upside down sentiment is a trick I have done many times. :-) Wouldn't have known you didn't add the sentiment panel on purpose if you had not said.
