This week Kittie selected Sandye aka sgc as our featured stamper. I found tons of inspiration, but narrowed it down to 3 cards. I finally went with this one:
I wanted to figure out how to do Queen card as my daughter is a huge fan of Queen. But I went with Johnny instead - Johnny as the Madd Hatter. Love this old Octopode Factory image. Excuse the face color, I had it kind of gray and it didn't look good and the only color that worked to cover it was a tan and the two made it to bit too tan. We live in craftland so it works for now and I will replace the head later today. Stamp surgery is fun too!
Can't wait to see what inspires you all. I think I am going to go make another one.
Congrats, Sandye! Enjoy seeing how you inspire us!

Octopode Factory is new to me...I have to see if I can find some old pics...this fellow is pretty cool looking! I would not bother changing the head. It is summer time. Maybe he has a tan...or he is not white.....I think he looks fine. I like the red stickles..nice rich color...
ETS-so I found them on Etsy...I have to say yours is the only one like. LOL. But they are digi so that lets me out.

Well, I'm "mad" for your Hatter. What a delightfully fun and creative card. That jumbled clock bg is perfection topped with that fun sentiment. Your daughter will adore this. I adore, this.

A very unique take on an Alice in Wonderland character and a great card for a belated birthday greeting. As a Queen and Freddie fan, I also love the card you chose as inspiration.
